Why do you travel?

I travel to step out of my comfort zone and become a better person. The best part about traveling is meeting people from all over the world and learning from them as well as discovering new cultures and languages.

Share a travel experience that really shaped who you are today.

My current trip, which is solo backpacking around Europe for three months, is completely life changing. I took the chance to travel solo as a female despite concerns from my friends and family and it is the best decision I have made so far. I have discovered so much about myself in terms of patience, compassion and independence. I have been immersed in so many diverse cultures and met so many interesting people. I now have friends from all over the world. I am so grateful that I took the opportunity to travel solo and now my bucket list is constantly growing!

Check a bag or carry on?

Right now, I check a bag since I’m away for three months and I have bought a lot of things along the way!

Do you collect souvenirs when you travel? If so, what?

I like to shop at clothing stores that are exclusive to the country or continent that I’m in. I also love getting post cards, they are light and cheap and always have a pretty view!

You just won an all expenses paid trip. Where are you going? Who are you taking with you?

I would go to an island in French Polynesia with my boyfriend and stay in one of the overwater bungalows! The landscape looks incredible and it’s such an undiscovered place.

Where are you heading next?

Italy, Poland, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Belgium and Netherlands!
